30 September - Pictures of a special 'Rolling Lunch' train run to celebrate the return to service of an extra two saloon coaches, enabling a five coach corridor coneected train to be run, with food or bar service available. Fourteen pictures in Railways 2011 Part 4

23 September - A visit to Niarbyl on a lovely sunny Autumn afternoon 
 
After a stroll around at Niarbyl we headed onwards to Peel 
 
 

19 September - Four views from work! When working in the Visual Control Room the views can be spectaular on a good day 
 
Some pictures taken at various locations on the way home from work, despite it being the middle of the day, the light was good with variable cloud and sunshine to illuminate the countryside 
 

18 September - Four pictures take around and after sunset from my house, all taken with the Nikon P100, the first three using a lot of zoom!

17 September - Three Aircraft pictures taken over the last couple of days in Aviation 2011 Part 3 The ATP freighter in the middle picture used to be G-UIET delivered new to Manx Airlines in 1988 
 

13 September - While I was taking the railway photo's yesterday, the tail end of Hurricane Katia was battering the island. I took the pictures below on the way home at lunchtime, where the police had closed the road at Derby Castle. (Today's weather's not much better either!) 
 

13 September - 38 Railway pictures taken yesterday covering the sterling efforts of the Steam Railway in moving huge numbers of Commonwealth Youth Games competitors from Douglas to Castletown and back. Every available pasenger carriage and all four currently servicable steam locomotives were in use. The pictures are in Railways 2011 Part 4

3 September - I don't seem to have taken many pictures at Port St Mary over the years I've been running Island Images, so I had a trip down yesterday afternoon when there was a high tide to fill the harbour.
